Revere Beach is a public beach in Revere, Massachusetts, USA, located about 4 miles north of downtown Boston. Revere Beach was founded in 1895 as the first public beach in the United States. More than 250,000 bathers might relax along Revere's shores on hot summer afternoons.

Conveniently located on two T-Stops, the beach can be accessed via the T’s Blue Line at the Wonderland and Revere Beach stop.

Revere Beach is home to Piping Plovers, an endangered shore bird that inhabits approximately 15% of the beach. Please be conscientious of these protected areas that are fenced off and support our effort to conserve these rare birds. View more information about piping plovers.

Water Quality & Tides/Fishing
There are miles of coastline for you to fish. Please remember that a fishing license is required to fish anywhere in Massachusetts.
Revere Beach’s water is tested regularly during the summer season.

Overview of Revere Beach Reservation
Located just North of Boston, Revere Beach was the first public beach established in the United States. Visitors can walk Revere Boulevard, which runs parallel to the beach. The T's Blue Line offers service between Revere Beach and downtown Boston, too.

Parking at Revere Beach Reservation
There is a 4-hour parking limit, and No Parking 9AM-10AM on Revere Beach Blvd. from Eliot Circle to #320 Revere Beach Blvd Revere Street. (as posted).
There is no parking 10PM-7AM on the east/ocean side of Revere Beach Blvd. from Revere Street to Carey Circle (as posted).
There is no parking during posted street sweeping dates/times.
There is no parking during declared snow emergencies.
Parking on Ocean Ave, and on the west/inland side of Revere Beach Blvd (from Revere Street to Carey Circle) is Resident Permit Parking Only.

Sections of the beach are sometimes closed due to Piping Plover nesting.
No dogs allowed from April to mid-September.
