Things people say

"Beautiful beach right within greater Boston area. We parked at post office square in Boston and took Blue Line over to the beach. Very convenient station next to the beach. We were there for the sand sculpting festival. Crowd management was good, did not feel over crowded when we were there. I would visit there again."

"3 star beach in a 5 star location! Very easy to get to right off the blue line. The beach is clean and not very rocky. Water is cold but I guess that's Massachusetts for ya. Definitely worth a visit if you want an easy beach day from Boston."

"What a hidden gem in Boston! Need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life for a day? Easy enough, hope on the T blue line (can't remember think blue for ocean) take it within a block walking distance to this beautiful public beach! Plenty to do and take in while enjoying the fresh ocean air!"

"Revere beach is such a great beach when you're living in the city! Just north of Boston, you can get here by taking the blue line all the way to the end at Wonderland, and walk to the beach in just two minutes from the station. Super clean beach and doesn't smell bad at all, there are bathrooms on either end of the beach at the posts. Blue line connects from green at government Center and state street for the orange line.  Can't recommend it enough - will be frequenting it all summer!"

"Overall, Revere Beach is one of the popular beaches on the coastlines of the greater Boston area. It may not be in the top 5 but it is definitely a great place to walk and swim during summer.  The place features its annual sand sculpture festivals, which are usually hosted on the third or fourth weekend of July. It is a great experience to wander by the sand arts created with planes flying overhead. Ocean, sand arts, and planes are married together for an amazing summer scene. During the sand sculpture festival, it may be hard to find street parking nearby. The parking garage at the wonderland station of Blue Line can be a place with resonable rates"

"Pretty beach along the Boston Harbor and coast, and I can see why this place is a nice little getaway when you want to escape the city for a while.
The water is quiet and serene, and watching the parade of planes coming onto their final approaches into Logan Airport was always fun. Yes, I am a northerner, so going to the beach in the cold months is what we do. It is enjoyable and nice when nobody's around because it allows me to reflect on things and have a beautiful backdrop all to myself (save for one bizarre man who was talking to himself on a bench while eating his dinner). Other than that it was a nice way to spend an hour and reflect on life.
At least it is right off the Blue Line. Only two blocks from the water and you are there."

"A serene night shot."

"What's nice is I took the blue line which was an easy change from the green line at Government Center to get here. When I got off the T the beach was huge and long and very nicely Sandy. What I didn't know is in the turn of the 20th century this was the first public beach in the US. They used to have a boardwalk with a ferris wheel and a live band and vendors but somehow it went away through time. So I have to say I was gladly surprised. It was low tide that particular day and you can totally clam dig for fun. It was very clean and beautiful. I will definitely come here again if I'm in the mood to go to a nearby Beach."
